Hi Sharon. I went to SU my freshman year and then transferred. I kept in touch with some of my friends there through the years. I was at the recent ’72 reunion with them. I loved the school and the people but decided I needed an education major so I left. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  6. Philis, your blog is WONDERFUL, as is your point of view. Are you interested in reviewing a book on growing up in the ‘60s? I’ve discounted my ‘60s coming-of age-novel Ride the Snake (author Kevin Kelly) to FREE on Amazon as a Kindle download for the long weekend. Thanks for checking out the madness, and possibly reviewing the book!

Kevin, I did download your book and read it. You captured the era! Great first novel. Hope to see more from you.

      • Thank you for your kind words. In this brave new world of self-publishing, comments such as yours come as a soothing balm amid the frenetic uncertainty of the process. I’m glad you enjoyed my book and I hope you are able to take the time to write a couple of sentences on Amazon. Evidently, reviews make a difference there. The 60s was such a great era and I plan on delving more into it in the near future. Thanks again.
